We LOVE this bread. It never last more than 2 days in our home.
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt ( I never use this because I used salted butter)
1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c. ripe mashed bananas (about 3 medium ones)
1/2 c. plain yogurt (I used vanilla flavored & it's fine)
1/2 c. chocolate chips ( I use at least a cup)
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease 9X5-inch bread pan. I used my Pampered Chef mini loaf pan. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, & salt into a mixing bowl & then set aside. With an electric mixer, cream all the wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients (minus chocolate chips). Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake bread for 60-70 minutes (it's about 60 minutes with mini loaf pan from PC), or until the top is golden brown & toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan, on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove the loaf/loaves from pan and finish cooling on wire wrack.
