I know I posted this Trevor moment over on Facebook, but I have to post it here as well. I have good intentions of taking this blog & turning it into a book.
Two weeks ago on our way home from church Trevor tells me that last night he had a dream about Jesus. I asked him if it was a good dream, & he responded yes. I then asked him, "Did Jesus say anything to you?" His response was, "yes, Jesus told me to tell you, to give me back the Wii!"
So, why was the Wii gone? Trevor has inherited the electronic gene from my side of the family. He loves them & he can't get enough of them. Cell phones (especially the iPhone), computers, the Wii, Playstation, Dsi. Now, we don't have all of those items, but that's all he can talk about. He doesn't understand why we don't have the desire to buy him every gaming system out there. Now, I have admitted in the past that I was a nintendo junkie in my youth, but I was no where close to what he is turning into. He has this passion for electronics & it's hard to get him to focus on anything else. So, do you see why I took it away. Since it's been put up, he has gone back to all his wonderful creative play.
After his comment two weeks ago, I thought I would let him have some time on that Monday to play; which he LOVED. He's had it for that past two weeks and has done wonderfully at turning it off when I tell him his time is up. Unfortunately, he lost it again today. Ryan took it away for sassing his mouth off . Someday he'll learn :-)

such a cute boy. Gotta do what Jesus says!
YOU are so right with the genes and our side of the family......sad isn't it!!??!!
We love that boy and I hope Ryan listens when Jesus tells HIM to give it back! :)
What would we do without Trevor stories. He is amazing and smart and CUTE! (even if he does not like to kiss Grandma Barb.....hummmmmmm maybe I can bribe kisses for "electronics"...think I will try that next time)
