After 1/2 hour of letting the kids de-goo the pumpkins, it was finally time to cut some faces (and for Trevor to finally wash his hands). Melissa was all prepared to carve the pumpkins with a knife, when I came up with a better idea. I went back to the shed, and decided that pumpkin carving needed to involve power tools; a jigsaw would be perfect. A few minutes later we had wonderfully cut pumpkins. I think using a jigsaw on pumpkins would be the start of "YOU KNOW YOU'RE A REDNECK IF" jokes, or just a more efficient way to carve pumpkins...you decide!

Love all of you!
Good job on the pumpkins Kayla and Trevor. Sure the de-gooing was quite an experience for Trevor.
