Does it ever snow in this town???

These were taken a few weeks ago, when mother nature attempted to give us snow. This town seems to be situated just right that everyone else around us gets great snow, but we get nothing. Last year I bought snow suits and boots for the kids and we used them one time. This year Santa brought them sleds (what was he thinking), and yet again we were disappointed with the lack of snow.
It was forcasted for us to get 3-5 inches, and as you can see in the background we got a dusting. Believe it or not, they cancelled school here; so we went over to some friends house to attempt sleding. The kids enjoyed themselves even though they would hit dry spots and go flying off their sleds.
