Today is my wife's birthday, and we spent it in the hospital. She had two bags of IV fluid with some Zofran on top :-) Not a great birthday dinner. Happy Birthday dear, and I hope that you feel better.
This is Melissa, and I'm editing Ryan's post.
Lovely pic eh? And, a nice way to spend my birthday! I was able to eat some lunch during this episode, so I was grateful for that.
This pregnancy has been tough and maybe it's because I've now turned the magical 35 and I'm considered "old" in the realms of pregnancy. We did go a couple weeks ago to have an ultrasound to make sure there is only one baby in there...and there's just one. I went to the dr today because I was non-stop throwing up for the last two days. When I went my BP was 150/100; definitely, high for me (last visit 118/68). I was also having postural headaches, which contributed to the vomiting. My dr. sent me over to the hospital for some fluids & meds.
I will admit that I really did like sitting with Ryan for a several hrs and just have time to visit. It's sad to say, but that's the longest we've spent together ALONE. His work knew he was with me, so for the most part they left him a lone. We talked for awhile, we laughed for awhile, we slept for awhile, & just sat there in silence for awhile. It was nice! Life is so crazy for us, and we just don't get that much time together, so I cherished it today.

Oh no! I hope everything is okay. I don't remember her being this sick with the others. Is there just one in there?
