How did this happen?

I had no idea how emotional I would be about this pivotal moment. I worked so hard not to tear up as I left her today in the hands of Mrs. Burgei. I know she will be happy and love being in school, but a part of my heart is sad to see her go. I was going through pictures last night and I came across this one of her when she was 4 days old. She was so little, and now she just this sweet little girl going off to kindergarten.

Somehow it doesn't seem possible that she is that old and yet next week I have to send Emma off as well. It is just so sad! Boy, Kayla is still just as cute as the day she was born!

Oh, I'm sad. I so remember holding her just hours after she was born! Gotta soak up every moment because they grow so fast! She looks ADORABLE in that outfit!

She had to of been the "cutest" girl in her kindergarten class! How exciting it is to watch her grow and develop into such a sweet girl! One day she will be a mother herself and YOU will wonder how it happened! I am still wondering!! :)

If you think Kindergarten is bad, wait until she gets baptiized. I nearly fell to pieces when Reid was baptized. This will be such a fun year, enjoy it!

I remember sitting across from you in Cincy when we told each other we were pregnant. Now we both have 5 going on 6 year olds! Amazing how time flies!
